Description
A new arrival to Shenandoah Valley Orchards, the Ambrosia is an incredibly sweet, honeylike apple. Its color is impressive, imitating a sunset with a yellow background darkened by red-orange or pink tints. Available from September through October. Ambrosia apples should always be stored in the refrigerator.
Ambrosia is best enjoyed fresh, as its lack of acidity keeps it from browning quickly. Gaining popularity for cooking and baking due to its sugar content.
Available in all market sizes, as well as bushel quantities and gift boxes.
